Notice: We will not close the pet resort as planned Jan 28 - Feb 5 2012 We will stay open. We will be making plans for major refurbishments sometime this year. But will stay open. You would be amazed of the wear and tear dogs can put on a building in such a short time. We have a reputation of being a great place for boarding your pet and after all of these years of learning the best way to love, care and give to the pets, we want to make the environment even better. I have great new plans and am very excited for these changes. The dogs will love it too. You love your pets, but it takes a special person to love your pet like you do. I feel that love and care for your pet and want the best for them. All I ask in return is respect for my policies and the business hours. It makes running my pet resort so much easier and enjoyable. Don't bring bedding, bowls, toys, etc. It will be sent back home with you. Please do not ask us to make special arrangements for pick-ups & drop offs. Holiday hours and rates are different then regular dates: $20 per pet on the weeks of Thanksgiving & Christmas
K9 Acres is a Pet Resort who solely caters to canines & felines, designed for your pet as a wonderful vacation facility. We provide quality care and socialization for your pet and meet the special needs they require. K-9 Acres is committed to the safety and well being of your fury family member. We have designed an environment where pets can indulge in the the love and attention they deserve while you are away, all offered in a beautifully secluded country setting where your pets can enjoy fresh air, nature and still have the luxury they need. You can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing your pet is having an enjoyable one too.
All of our guests go out in one of seven 10,000 square foot exercise yards most of the day (weather permitting) between the hours of 7am - 7pm 7 days a week. Your dog will go out individually or with others similar in size and personality at your request and written permission. The proprietors live on the property, so the Resort is closely monitored. Even though we live on the property we will still be very strict with our business hours to the public. Please do not ask to drop off or pickup your pet before or after our Resort is closed.

Rooms are 15 ft long inside/outside with a doggie door and their own private porch. The runs are 6 ft tall and have covered tops for climbers. The facility is surrounded by a 6 ft tall perimeter fence. All of the doors are dead bolted when the Pet Resort is closed, we have surveillance cameras on the property and an alarm system. We will know if anyone tries to enter or if some one tries to escape right away. The entire facility has central heat and air. The average temperature stays between 68 & 72 degrees. It just depends on the season and what is comfortable for the pets. 
Doggies get to enjoy a flat screen TV, while kitties have a large aquarium to keep them busy. Your feline companions can enjoy a large private run with a window view and their own three story playhouse.
