Boarding fees are $17 per pet per day

Charges start the day you drop your pet off and if you pick them up in the morning  on weekdays you will not be charged for that day.  If you would like, your pet will be groomed or bathed the day of pickup, we will have them ready by 11am on a weekday.  If you do not pick them up by closing in the morning (even if they are being groomed) then you will be charged boarding fees for that day, unless it is our fault they are not done by closing in the morning.  We no longer accept brand new customers over Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We Cannot except American Express

No Discounts for pets in the same run

No Discounts for multiple pets

No Discounts for extended stays

We provide each pet with the same amount of playtime, attention and care.

Do Not bring bedding, toys, bowls, etc.We Provide Iams, but will accept your food.

Do Not ask us to make special arrangements for pick-ups & drop offs. Please come during our office hours.

Please Pay for Boarding upon drop off.  You will not be allowed to pickup your pet unless their stay is paid in full.  I thought I could trust a few people and let them take their pets home before the full amount was paid.  I have never heard from them again.  They took advantage of my services and kind heart.  If you would like, I will give you a quote through email at k9acres@netscape.com or text 918-261-3615 and you can have the payment ready when dropping off to make your departure quicker.

We will not board Pit Bull Terriers, Chow Chows, Rottwilers, Weimaraners, Blue Heelers or Australian Cattle Dogs ( any aggressive dogs, dogs with major seperation anxiety or escape artists)

Will will not board pets who require any type of injections.

We will not board dogs who climb, dig under fences, destroy fencing, have major separation anxiety from their owners and make themselves sick (then the owner blames the kennel operator),  or are aggressive to humans or other dogs.

We will not board pets who need medical assistance.  The best place for those pets would be with their vet.  We care for healthy active pets who need plenty of fun and exercise.

Our business has flourished with the changes we have made, I want the dogs to enjoy their stay here.  If there are other dogs who panic or stress and send off bad vibes, the other dogs will sense those feelings and will be uneasy.  I also need to stay relaxed and calm around the other dogs.  They can feel any tension I emit.  When I am calm and happy, so are they.  :-)

The dogs of owners who are nervous or anxious will act the same way.  Think about it.  If you are going to board your pet with me, please don't make a big emotional farewell.  The dog does not need to get those feelings from you.  Be happy when you drop your pet off, don't stress or hang around wondering if you should leave your pet.  Make that decision before you come to my Resort.  And don't ask to put your pet in their room,  the kennel staff (usually Heidi) can handle that just fine.  If there are other pets in the rooms next to yours, they will bark at YOU (not at me or your dog). They will get anxious and in return your pet will also. When my resort is calm and stress free, your pet will be too.

Next year, 2012, all pets must be spayed or neutered.  Their is no need for them to be intact unless they are breeding dogs or service dogs.  Intact male dogs are too aggressive and urinate everywhere.  Including all over their room.  It makes my resort smell awful and can cause sanitary issues.  They are also more aggressive then a neutered male and cannot interact with other dogs.  Which means they get less play time.  They are also hyper, anxious & stress out the other dogs.  They are defiantly not allowed in the inside playrooms.  If you disagree with me talk to your veterinarian about the pros and cons.  But I will not accept un-neutered male dogs next year.

Tinker the Toy Yorkie is staying in an In Door / Out Door Run, (he has a little doggie door and his own private porch) This run is 4 ft by 15 ft and is for small pets. Larger pets get a larger run.  In this picture he is currently inside the building, but he can go through the doggie door on the right side to a 4ft  by 10ft covered concrete outside private run, if he would like-unless I have the doggie doors to outside locked.  With most pets we will give rugs for them on the inside part of the kennel (if they don't tear them up or use them for potty pads).

Prices are per day per pet, and the kennel provides the food.  Charges start the day you drop your pet off (even if it is 5 minutes before we close in the evening) and if you pick them up before 11:00 am on weekdays & 9:00 am Saturdays , the day they are scheduled to depart, you will not be charged for that day.  You must still pick them up before closing in the morning even if they were scheduled for grooming if you don't want to be charged for boarding fees that day.  We will have them ready for you by closing time in the morning. We accept cash, check, mastercard, visa, discover, and debit cards.  We Cannot Accept American Express

Charges are $17 per dog per day. Extremely large dogs over 100 lbs who need plenty of exercise room and their own yard, will be $20 per day.  We will provide food, treats, bedding all in the cost of boarding.

We will then condition their coat to get out any tangles and keep their fur and hair from drying out.

We clean their ears, trim & file their nails and do their anal glands.  A sanitary trim is also included.  We will blow out the old loose hair off their under coat and brush them out.  We will then add a spritz of cologne and a bandana or a bow if you would like.

We provide Iam's & Eukanuba products.  The food K-9 Acres provides for our boarders is a veterinary prescription Iam's Low-Residue Nutritional Intestinal Formula diet specially developed for boarding facilities to reduce stress diarrhea.   Pets are fed twice daily (8am and 5pm). We will feed the amount of food they are use to. Small treats are given throughout the day.  We also provide bedding, pet cots, mats & cottages.  Although, we will only give bedding to dogs who will not destroy it.  All of this is included in the rate.  Please don't bring anything with your pet unless it is medication or special food.   Your pet's toys may be lost or stolen by our other little guests.   And there is a chance bedding may get torn or dirty so don't bring anything you can't live without.   We will give lots of love and attention to your pet. I really enjoy what I do and the dogs can see and feel it.  Each dog will go out in one of our 7 large exercise yards most the day (weather permitting.) Our inside play yard is finished and it is fabulous.  Your pet will play inside if weather is bad. Your pet can have supervised playtime with others similar in size and personality at your request and written permission.  Our resort divides the small dogs and the large dogs into separate areas of the facility, so small dogs will not be intimidated by larger ones during their stay.  All vaccinations must be current, including bordetella.  If your pet should need medical assistance we will take them to the vet of your choice.  You are more then welcome to call, email or text us to check on your pet if you would like.  We will bathe your pet before pickup, if you want (charges apply).  We will also groom your pet during their stay - see grooming charges.

Cats

$15 per day - 4x4 run with 3-story Kitty Play House -

Cats have their own room (Cattery).  This room is positioned next to the office where they can view through the floor to ceiling glass wall and watch all of the customers coming and going.  On the other side of their room is another mid-height to ceiling glass wall where they can sit up high on their perch and be a spectator to the doggies daily activities in the inside play room.  They also can watch the flat screen TV.  The third window is a view of the outside where they are able to observe the birds and squirrels eat out of feeders.  But we think the large aquarium in their room is the most interesting for them to watch.   Cats are let out of their run and into the cattery to roam (individually of course, we would not want any cat fights) where they have an eight foot tall kitty castle to explore.  They play on this 3 times a day.  We provide bedding and litter for kittys.  All at no additional charge.  Cats must be current on their vaccinations or they will not be allowed to enter the resort.  This is very very important.  Our cattery has changed, we now only have four catterys.    Please book far in advance for cats. If cats come in with fleas, we will treat them at owners expense.

                                               Doggie Day Camp

$10 per day per dog

Hours M - F   7:00am - 5:30pm   If left over night, then boarding charges incur

We will still close to the Day Camp Public from 11:00am-4:30pm to work in the kennel or run errands.  Which means you cannot pickup your pet until 4:30. Please don't ask for us to make special arrangements.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered for the day camp.  Dogs will play with others, so they must be dog friendly. No Aggressive Dogs. Your dog will have supervised play time all day long in our exercise yards and also have access to our inside play area.  They will have snack time and nap time.  Small Dogs, Medium Dogs and Large Dogs will all be divided in separate areas to play.  If your dog shows any signs of aggression they will not be allowed to play with others and will be put in one of our large runs and let out individually 3 times a day to play (The charge will be based on our boarding rates).  If you want your dog to play and socialize, Please understand that when dogs play together, some might play rough, but all in good fun.  They might get a scratch or nick.  If you pick up your pet after staying with me and they have a scratch, do not call and complain.  I watch all the pets the best I can and if I do notice one is playing too rough or aggressive, I will remove them from the other well behaved dogs.

All boarding dogs will get to enjoy daycamp and there is no extra charge.

You must let us know if you do not want your pet to play with others.  This is a pet resort and your pet will have interaction with others.  If you chose to opt out of playtime then your pet will be let out 3 times a day and put back in their room.
