Grooming

Grooming appointments must be made at least 7 - 10 days in advance if we are busy.  Slow times we can get your pet in the same day. 
We offer a special rate for baths if your pet is being boarded with us or stays at our Day Camp. Mandatory baths will be given starting May 1st for pets staying with us more then 2 nights.

Courtesy Bath after Boarding 

up to 59 lbs         $20  (long hair $30)

60 lbs - 99 lbs      $30  (long hair $50)

100 lbs +             $40 + (long hair $80 +)

K-9 Acres request a Courtesy Bath for all dogs staying with us for 2 or more nights.  Baths are given morning of departure.  Includes: Massaging Bubble Bath & Condition, Blow Dry & Brush Out, Nails Clipped and Ears Cleaned.           

Full Groom (Clip) Includes:

Prices depend on condition of coat. 

Small up to 30 lbs   $30 - $45     

Med up to 70 lbs     $45 - $80 

Large 71 lbs +          $70 + 

 

                             Basic Obedience Training

We offer group training twice a year. In the Spring (March) & Fall (August). The sessions are 7 weeks long - 1 day a week - 1 1/2 hours a day.  They are usually in the evening from 5:30 - 7:00.  The day of the week will be determined by K-9 Acres Trainers.  You will be in a group of about 15 other clients and their dogs.  Vaccinations must be current and you must have proof.  The charge for one session (6 weeks) is $110.    You will need a training collar and leash. Orientation will be the first day.  Bring your dog and very tiny bite size treats  in a baggy that will fit in your pocket.  Your dog will be measured for his/her training collar that day.  We will also give you handouts and a view of what to expect during the weeks to come.  You will pay for class the first day and no refunds will be given if you decide training is not for you.  Please send us an email k9acres@netscape.com to be put on the list for obedience training.  You can also email our Trainer - Pam Hixson at hixson@hotmail.com to get all of the details on what you and your pet will learn in our 6 week session of obedience training.
